Check-in and check-out policies of Laurel Guesthouse
Reservation of the guesthouse indicates acceptance of our policies.
Check-in time is 3 PM. Check-out time is noon.
We will gladly do our best to adjust the check-in and check-out times to suit your travel needs, to the best of our ability, taking into account the needs of the guests who precede you and the guests who arrive after you.
Full payment for the reserved time is due at or before time of check-in.

Reservation policies of Laurel Guesthouse
1. Reservation of the guesthouse indicates acceptance of our policies.
2. Reservations are confirmed when the check/money order clears the bank or when the credit card information is confirmed. Payment for the first night confirms the registration, at which point you are guaranteed the quoted rate. Full payment is required at check-in.
3. Reservation deposit equal to one night's stay is required. Stays of one week or more require a 50% deposit in advance.
4. Minimum stays of 2-7 stays may be required during major cultural events or major sports events.
5. Add 10.5 % city and state lodging tax to all rates.
6. Full payment is expected at or before the time of check-in.
7. Cash/check/money order payment is preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted by phone and in person.
8. Door lock code will be issued after balance of rental is settled in advance. Please call if you are going to be arriving late, so that we can make arrangements to make your arrival more comfortable. If your balance has been settled, your door lock code will be given to you verbally.
Cancellations
9. Notice of cancellation must be received within 7 days of reserved check-in date. Laurel Guesthouse will refund the sums you have paid, less a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total rent amount.
10. If your notice of cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to your check-in date, Guest will forfeit all sums paid, unless we are able to re-rent the property to someone else, at the same rate for the same period.
11. Early departures will be charged for the entire length of your reservation.
Thank you for understanding the necessity for these policies. They are actually more liberal than most owner-managed vacation rentals.

Damage policy of Laurel Guesthouse
1. We ask that you treat the fine furnishings and wood surfaces of this guesthouse with the same care you use in your own home.
2. Your credit card is your security deposit.
3. Guest is liable for all replacements and repairs that are outside what is considered normal wear and tear. By reservation of the Laurel Guesthouse, Guest authorizes Laurel Guesthouse to charge the Guest’s credit card to cover said costs. If this occurs, an itemized invoice will be provided to the guest. If cost of replacement or repairs exceeds the tenant’s credit limit, Guest agrees to pay the difference to Laurel Guesthouse.
4. Provided that real and personal property are in the same condition as when occupancy began, Guest’s credit card will not be charged.
5. Smoking in or on the property constitutes damage and will be charged accordingly (see smoking policy).
